About

I coach leaders of today and tomorrow to become the best version of themselves—starting with self-leadership. I’m especially passionate about empowering underrepresented leaders to build their leadership capacity and realize their full potential. Together, we enhance emotional intelligence, confidence, communication, and resilience so you can lead yourself and others more effectively. My approach is shaped by lived experiences: as an immigrant seeking belonging, a working mother balancing multiple roles, and a lifelong learner committed to equity and transformation. I've helped members on a variety of personal and professional growth topics, including: - Setting healthy boundaries to improve focus, productivity, and well-being. - Gaining career momentum by building assertive communication and executive presence. - Increasing emotional intelligence to navigate discomfort, imposter syndrome, and leadership challenges. - Cultivating self-confidence and resilience by quieting inner critics. - Embracing authenticity and lead with compassion—for themselves and others. In my 30+ years of professional, management, and leadership experience, I worked in the private, nonprofit, and public sectors—particularly in youth- and family-serving systems for systems change and social innovation. I started my career as an account executive in a management consulting firm in Japan fresh out of college, where I gained hands-on experience working with C-suite executives. I rebuilt my career in the U.S. by starting out as a communication specialist in a sales consulting firm to enter the Asia Pacific markets. I reinvented myself a few more times, from taking fractional work while raising my children, to returning to the workforce full-time in a non-profit organization, and on to working for systems and policy change work in the public sector. My career includes roles as a human services policy director, project manager, research associate, program development officer, and innovation coordinator. Education MA in Speech Communication (Organizational & Intercultural Communication) BA in English Linguistics.

Why AWCC?

I want to continue building a network of like-minded, culturally-relatable coach colleagues and a support system. The vision and mission of AWCC resonate as I continue to work on myself to show up authentically and proudly as who I am. That's how I model as a coach, a leader, and a human.
