Shannan Hsiao helps designers overcome self-doubt and build the confidence to lead and design fulfilling careers. As Managing Founder of Simply Designed and former VP of Design at Clover/Fiserv, she brings over 20 years of design leadership experience to her coaching practice. Shannan has led teams through major transitions—from 0-1 startups to tech transformations and acquisitions—always prioritizing authentic leadership and collaborative culture. She believes in leading with carrot, not stick, empowering people rather than wielding authority. A PCC, CPCC, and ACTC certified coach and member of the International Coaching Federation, she offers both traditional coaching and innovative experiential approaches, including equine-assisted learning, to help creative professionals step into their leadership potential. When she's not coaching, you can find her tending to her hobby farm and spending time with her daughters in Los Altos, CA.
